we currently facilitate group rides in the Western
Cape, and surrounding countries like Namibia.

Agulhas
Costal & Mountain Adventure:

|
|
Explore
the colorful Overberg region via the back roads,
farmlands and settlements en route to L’Agulhas
the southern most tip of Africa. During (August
- September) its whale season & sightings
are very common. We Overnight in De Hoop Nature
reserve then make our way along the coast to Mossel
Bay. We cross Gondwana Game Reserve where sighting
of Zebra, Eland, Elephant and if we lucky the
small pride of Lions. We spend the second night
in the Outeniqua Mountain Range before tracking
back along the Historical Attaquaskloof and Gysmanshoek
Pass Ox Wagon Trails and R62 for the last night.
The final day takes us through the Overberg winelands
regions of Mcgregor, Robertson, Greyton Theewaterskloof,
Van der Stels Pass and Somerset West.

Explorer:

3 Days of Exploration in the Mountains - 780km
|
|
Discover
the ruggered prehistoric
landscapes of the Cederberg Mountain
range. Hidden rural settlements and cave formations
with Bushman Rock Art and waterfalls are scattered
along the route. We spend 3 days exploring the Cederberg
on 3 stunning off road loops.
On our route home
we travel along the old gravel Mountian passes to
Porterville, where we join up with the R44 again
back through Tulbach and to Stellenbosch and Paarl.
Some Gravel Riding Experience is prefered.....but
not essential

Namibian Adventure: -
12 Days - 3300km |
|
We
Explore the Cederberg and Northern Cape Province
on route to Namibia. The highlands of the Northern
Cape change radically as we approach the Border.
Once in the Mars-like landscape of Southern Namibia
we journey along the mighty Fishriver Canyon
and into the pre-historic regions surrounding
Keetmanshoop - Then we travel up to the incredible
Sossusvlei, to the largest sand
dunes in the world. During our rest days, a variety
of activities ranging from River cruises to Game
drives are available.
On our return leg we stop in the Namibian coastal
town of Luderitz, and visit the
ghost town of Kolmanskoppe - then
cross through the Richtersveld Conservancy on route
to Sedelingsdrift, Port Nolloth
and down the West Coast of Namaqualand to paternoster
and Cape Town.

is a mixture of comfortable bush camp sites and B&B
guesthouses.
We have selected campsites with fire places, ablutions
and hot showers, electricity points and flushable toilets.
Guesthouse accommodation ranges from basic to 4 star
rated beachfront apartments and mountain log cabins.
